Orpen

A small, friendly camp situated right at the Orpen Gate, known for the nearby waterhole just outside the fence.

Orpen is a small and very friendly rest camp situated immediately on the border at the Orpen Gate. Despite its small size, it is renowned for excellent game viewing right from the camp fence. The small waterhole just outside the camp attracts a steady stream of thirsty animals, and the sweet grass of the surrounding central plains supports large herds of grazers, which in turn draw predators.
